A luxury trip to Italy, in the sense we build one, is not a coach with an assigned seat and a program that is the same for everyone. It is a private itinerary for your group, from two to thirty people, put together around dates you already have. Tuscany, Lake Como and the coast do not belong in the same day. They belong in the same trip, if the trip is long enough.
What you receive before you travel is a proposal. It arrives within 48 hours, with the estimate and the conditions, after we have checked cars and services for those dates. There is no price on this page, because a price without a date, a car and the number of guests would be a number we invented.
Tuscany, from Florence or Siena
Tuscan days leave from Florence, Siena or your hotel. One kind is driving: the supercar or the classic car is yours to drive, on the roads of Chianti, the Val d'Orcia or Montalcino. Another kind is a winery: a chauffeur takes you, so the person who tastes is not the person who drives back. A day is one of those things. A trip lines up two or three of them, with the evenings in between.
Lake Como
On the lake the day leaves from Como, Milan or your hotel. You drive the western shore: Lezzeno, Bellagio, Villa Melzi, and a stop at Villa d'Este in Cernobbio. Villa d'Este is a hotel. The stop is not a stay, and the day is not a public boat ticket. From Milan the day is longer than from Como. If the trip already has Tuscany in it, the lake is another chapter, not an afternoon's detour.
The water, with a skipper
On a boat you are not driving a road. The Tuscan islands are a week, Saturday to Saturday, with a skipper, and the route bends to the wind. Portofino and the Gulf of Tigullio take one or two days. They are the part of the trip for someone who wants the water, not an extra bolted onto the last day in a car.
What is included, and what is not
A trip includes the private itinerary, for your group only, and assistance before and during the days. Cars and services are confirmed for the dates you asked for. It does not include a published price, because the estimate depends on the dates, the car or the boat, and the number of guests. We write that estimate in the proposal, within 48 hours of the request.
