Rocca d'Italia is looking for a person to join the marketing, communication and business development team.
The position is open exclusively to students still attending a university or academic path, preferably a master's, who can activate a curricular internship through their educational institution.
The internship is designed for someone interested in building a continuous path with Rocca d'Italia. We are not looking for profiles interested only in a short internship to complete credits or university obligations.
Economic conditions
The internship does not include a fixed monthly salary. A variable remuneration is provided, calculated exclusively as a percentage on the achievement of agreed goals.
Goals may concern, by way of example, business development, acquisition of qualified contacts, activation of collaborations with resellers, support to the sale of experiences and operational contribution to the growth of the tourism division.
Conditions will be clearly defined before the internship starts.
Availability required
Availability to work in hybrid mode from Milan and to take part in operational trips for events, experiences and commercial appointments, mainly in Tuscany and Lombardy, is required.
During the winter season, activities related to congresses, meetings with industry operators, B2B appointments and networking occasions in the travel, hospitality and luxury tourism world may be planned.
Role and responsibilities
The resource will contribute to developing Rocca d'Italia's positioning as a provider of private, premium and on-demand tourism experiences, aimed at private clients, foreign travel agencies, luxury travel advisors, concierges, high-end hotels and international operators.
A central part of the role is dedicated to the commercial growth of the experiences division: research, first contact and maintenance of relationships with resellers and commercial partners interested in offering Rocca d'Italia experiences to their clients.
In parallel, the resource will follow marketing and content activities, contributing to the company's online presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and other digital channels.
We are looking for a person who can combine marketing skills, commercial vision and operational concreteness: someone able to produce useful content, organise materials, build qualified contact lists, follow up, enhance the brand and directly contribute to sales development.
Main activities
The role will involve:
- Building and managing Rocca d'Italia's editorial plan.
- Creating content related to events, experiences, itineraries, partners and company activities.
- Supporting content production during events and experience days; briefing photographers and videomakers.
- Collecting, selecting and organising photos and videos; managing the company media archive.
- Publishing content on digital channels and storytelling of the brand and experiences.
- Commercial enhancement of itineraries in Tuscany, Lombardy, Lake Como and other destinations.
- Supporting the development of the personalised tourism experiences division.
- Researching and first-contacting potential resellers and commercial partners; orderly management of commercial databases.
- Supporting follow-ups with agencies, hotels, concierges and luxury travel advisors.
- Preparing commercial materials and content useful for sales.
- Using digital tools, AI, CRM, spreadsheets and simple automations to speed up operational and commercial activities.
Required skills
- Strong interest in marketing, communication and business development.
- Familiarity with social media and digital content.
- Good writing skills for online channels and commercial materials.
- Aesthetic sensitivity and attention to visual communication.
- Ability to think commercially, not just editorially.
- Interest in sales, partnerships, lead generation and contact management.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Organisational precision, operational autonomy and speed of execution.
- Availability to work also during events and trips.
- Concrete interest in hospitality, luxury travel, experiential tourism and B2B relations.
Considered a plus
- Experiences — even personal, university or extracurricular — in digital marketing, social media management and content creation.
- Commercial activities, lead generation, partnerships, event organisation and database management.
- Experience in hospitality, hotellerie, tourism or luxury travel.
Basic skills with tools
- AI tools, CRM, databases and spreadsheets.
- Tools for simple automations and content management.
- Digital platforms to organise leads, materials, follow-ups and operational flows.
