The contest lives inside Il Giardino dell'Eden: you shoot during the day of the event, and send the photographs in over the fifteen days that follow.

Contest rules
Who can enter
The contest is open to all guests attending Il Giardino dell'Eden during the relevant edition. Participation is free and does not require professional equipment: photographs taken with a smartphone are accepted.
Subject matter
Photographs must depict moments, atmospheres, cars, installations or details from the event. Images with offensive, discriminatory or unrelated content are not permitted.
Submission
Participants must send 1 to 5 photographs within 15 days of the event to amministrazione@roccaditalia.it. Photos must be JPG or PNG format, minimum 2000px on the long side. The membership contract is accepted online at registration.
Selection
An internal Rocca d'Italia jury will select the winning photograph based on aesthetic, narrative and brand-consistency criteria. The jury's decision is final; no individual communications will be sent to non-winners.
Prizes
Prizes will be announced in partnership with the official partners and sponsors of the edition. The winning shot is published as the cover of the official Il Giardino dell'Eden magazine with full photo credit.
Rights transfer
Participation requires reading and accepting online the membership and image-rights contract, directly during registration.
The prizes
The prize includes a selection of Chianti wines, alongside the cover of the official magazine for the winning shot. Further prizes will be revealed soon, in partnership with the edition's partners.

Do I need to be a photographer to enter?
No. The contest is free and open to every guest attending Il Giardino dell'Eden, professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Can I enter with a smartphone?
Yes. Smartphone photographs are accepted: the only technical requirement is a JPG or PNG file of at least 2,000 pixels on the long side, which any recent phone exceeds.
How much does it cost to enter?
Nothing. Entering the contest is free, and so is admission to Il Giardino dell'Eden, which does require a named booking.
How do I get to Castello della Paneretta?
The castle is in Barberino Tavarnelle, in Chianti, about thirty kilometres from Siena and thirty-five from Florence: take the Siena-Florence dual carriageway and leave at the San Donato exit.
When is the submission deadline?
Within fifteen days of the event, so by 12 October 2026. Each entrant may send one to five photographs.
What do I win?
The photograph the jury chooses becomes the cover of the next edition's official magazine, published with the photographer's name. For the 2026 edition a selection of Chianti wines is also on offer.

Rocca d'Italia, a company based in Siena, which organises Il Giardino dell'Eden: a day open to the public devoted to cars, craftsmanship, design and the best of the region.
